For Swan Songs, studio sibling invites students from the Maastricht Academy of Performing Arts to participate in their working method: music is content, composition is dramaturgy.
Swan Songs is a collection of swan songs: an accumulation of final songs before death, of final notes before departure. The imminent end as a starting point for creating material. Each individual swan song is given a place in the set list of a collective performative concert. As always in the coaching projects of the sibling Songcycle, the group is lead singer, band, and background choir all in one.
